Terms & Conditions

 
  1. Bridge” refers to Bridge Mobile Pte. Ltd. which manages Bridge Alliance, an alliance of leading mobile operators in the Asia Pacific Region.
  2. Bridge Member Operators” (BMOs) refer to the member operators of Bridge Alliance namely, Bharti Airtel Limited (Airtel), Advanced Info Services Public Company Limited (AIS), Hong Kong CSL Limited (CSL), Companhia de Telecomunicacoes de Macau S.A.R.L (CTM), Globe Philippines, Inc. (Globe), Maxis Communications Berhad (Maxis), Optus Mobile Pty. Ltd. (Optus), Singapore Telecom Mobile Pte. Ltd. (SingTel), SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (SKT), Taiwan Mobile Co., Ltd. (Taiwan Mobile), PT. Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) and any new operator who may join Bridge Alliance in the future.
  3. Program” refers to the Bridge Traveller Program.
  4. Member” refers to a natural person whose registration or application for membership in the Program has been accepted by Bridge.
  5. BMO Networks” refer to the mobile networks operated by each BMO in their respective territories.
  6. Participating Merchant” refers to any individual or company from whom Members may enjoy the privileges in accordance with these terms and conditions and other terms and conditions which Bridge or the Participating Merchant may come up with from time to time. Such Participating Merchants include restaurants, hotels, airlines, retail merchants or shops, which may be accessible on the Program website.
  7. Platinum Tier” is the membership tier open only to Members who are subscribers of BMOs.
  8. Gold Tier” is the membership tier open to Members who are not subscribers of BMOs.
  9. Terms and Conditions” refer to the terms & conditions between Bridge and the Member as set out herein and as amended and posted on the Program website from time to time.
 
  1. Subscribers may register as a Member via www.bridgetraveller.com. Once all the information is received, Bridge shall create a membership account and activate the same by sending a Membership ID via SMS and a welcome email. The Member must download the Membership ID within 30 minutes from his receipt of the SMS. Data charges for downloading the Membership ID may apply (approximately US 66¢; excluding roaming charges). Please contact your local service provider for more details on the applicable data rates and handset data configuration.
  2. Membership in the Program commences upon the activation of a Member’s account and shall be non-transferable.
  3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Bridge reserves the right to reject any application without giving any reason whatsoever.
  4. By registering as a Member, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Program and consent to:
    a) the release of your accumulated overseas call duration from the BMOs to Bridge; and
    b) receive more information about the Bridge Traveller Program.
 
  1. Membership in the Program is open to postpaid and prepaid mobile subscribers, except where the same is prohibited by law.
  2. The membership fee for joining the Program is currently waived, but such waiver shall be subject to review by Bridge.
  3. Only natural persons are eligible for membership in the Program.
  4. One mobile phone number shall be equivalent to one membership account. An individual may have more than one membership account. However, registering multiple phone numbers into a single membership account is not allowed.
  5. Members may modify, amend or change their personal details online using the “My Account” option on www.bridgetraveller.com.
  6. Membership in the Program shall be valid for one membership year from 1st April to 31st March of the following year and is renewed automatically for the same period.
  7. Bridge reserves the right to exclude any Member from further participation in the Program at any time without giving any notice or reason therefore.
  8. Bridge reserves the right to review or audit any Member’s account at any time for compliance with the program's Terms and Conditions without prior notice being given.
  9. Members can terminate their membership at any time by sending an email to Bridge, at which time any benefits or privileges within the current membership year shall be forfeited. In such an event, the Member’s personal data shall be destroyed by Bridge within 12 months from the termination of membership.
  10. Membership will be deemed terminated upon the death of a Member.
  11. Members may visit www.bridgetraveller.com or send an email to enquiries@bridgetraveller.com for general enquiries of the program.
  12. Bridge may change the program rules or privileges without prior notice. Bridge reserves the right at any time, to initiate the following changes:
    a) Program partners or participating merchants.
    b) The features of special offers and promotions. Privileges from Participating Merchants are dependent on the Participating Merchant’s continued participation in the Program .
  13. Bridge reserves the right to terminate the Program or any part thereof, at any time with notice posted on the Program website, even though termination may affect the Member's right to the privileges. Bridge shall not be liable to the Members for any loss of privileges that may arise as a result of any changes made to the Program.
  14. Bridge shall not be liable for any product and service offered or promised from a Participating Merchant. Bridge will not be held liable for any action that may arise as a result of using the privileges provided by a Participating Merchant.
  15. Bridge shall not be responsible to any Member for any delay in performance or for non-performance by any Participating Merchant due to causes beyond Bridge’s control.
  16. Bridge shall not be in breach of its obligation of confidentiality if disclosure of a Member's personal information is pursued in conjunction with an order of court, or is required by law or any governmental or regulatory authority. If the disclosure is required, Bridge shall give the Member notice of such disclosure promptly.
  17. The sale or barter of the Program privileges or other benefits is prohibited and will result in the termination of membership Members who breach this rule may also be liable for damages, litigation and transaction costs.
  18. Members will be held responsible for any taxes, levies or duties that arise in connection with the receipt of the Program privileges and all additional costs shall be borne by the Member.
  19. It is the responsibility of Members to keep their contact details up-to-date. Any communication sent to Members will be regarded as delivered when posted to the contact address on record. Bridge will not be responsible for any delayed, misdirected or lost mail. Any change in the Members' contact details must be updated online.
  20. Should the Program collaterals be available in other languages, the English language version shall be the only point of reference if any discrepancy arises.
  21. Members are responsible for keeping themselves informed of the current Terms and Conditions of the Program which are posted on the Program website.
  22. Bridge reserves the right to interpret, apply and communicate the Terms and Conditions as posted on the Program website. All decisions made by Bridge shall be final and conclusive in each case.
 
  1. The Program offers different privileges for Platinum and Gold Tier Members.
  2. Privileges are redeemed by presenting the electronic Membership ID to the Participating Merchant or the letter containing the image of the Membership ID, as the case may be.
  3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Participating Merchants have the right to refuse honoring the privileges if the Membership ID is not shown for verification.
 
  1. Bridge and any BMO or any Participating Merchant shall not be liable to the Member for any direct or indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the Program and or the provision of the refusal to provide any privileges, whether such loss, damage or expense is caused by negligence or otherwise, and whether Bridge and any BMO or any Participating Merchant have any control over the circumstances giving rise to the claim or not, or whether they are kept informed of the occurrence.
  2. Subject to 1 above, Bridge, its BMOs or any Participating Merchant’s liability in contract, tort or otherwise with respect to any claim arising in respect of the acts or omissions under the Program shall be limited to the value of the privileges.
  3. Bridge will endeavor to ensure the availability of the services or goods provided by Participating Merchants but will not be liable for any loss arising from the failure by Participating Merchants to provide such services or goods. Where a Member uses the services or goods provided by Participating Merchants, the terms and conditions prescribed by the Participating Merchant apply and Bridge will not be liable for any loss or damage arising therefrom.
  4. A failure to enforce a particular Term or Condition does not constitute a waiver of that Term or Condition by Bridge
  5. Bridge may at any time it sees fit with or without advance notice to the Member and without assigning any reason:
    a) assign, novate or transfer to any party or otherwise cancel all or part of the Program and/or these Terms and Conditions; and/or
    b) add or remove a particular membership tier, change, amend and/or alter the specific terms for each tier, by posting the same on the website.
    Such amended or supplemental terms shall take effect on the day following the date of posting on the Program website and these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to have been amended and supplemented by such amended or supplemental terms on the same date. It is the responsibility of the Members to keep abreast of all the changes published by Bridge.
  6. Bridge shall not be liable to the Member for loss or damage resulting from delay or failure to perform these Terms and Conditions, or any contract hereunder, either in whole or in part, where any such delay or failure shall be due to causes beyond its reasonable control, or which is not occasioned by Bridge’s fault or negligence, including, but not limited to, war, the threat of imminent war, terrorism, riots or other acts of civil disobedience, insurrection, acts of God, epidemics, restraints imposed by governments or any other supranational legal authority, or any other industrial or trade disputes, delay caused by any third party, fires, explosions, storms, floods, lightning, earthquakes and other natural calamities.
  7. The Member shall indemnify and keep indemnified Bridge, the BMOs and Participating Merchants, and their officers, employees, sub-contractors and agents from and against all liabilities, expenses, losses, claims, damages that the Member may sustain or incur, in connection with any breach of the obligations, representations, warranties or undertakings of the Member in these Terms and Conditions. Bridge shall under no circumstances be liable to a Member for any damages, loss of revenue, loss of profits or any consequential loss or damages whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the application or use of the privileges described in these Terms and Conditions or participation in the Program including, but not limited to the claims in relation to any goods, products, services or other benefits obtained by the Member from the Participating Merchant or otherwise under the Program.
  8. These Terms and Conditions shall in all respects be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and, in the event of dispute, the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
